Toys We’d Forgotten We Loved: Spin N’ Spray Turtle Sprinkler

Growing up, summer was my favorite season, not only because my birthday is in July, but because I got to be outside all the time!  One of my favorite things to do (besides collect bugs and go to the park) was to run through the sprinkler.  But not just any old sprinkler - the Spin N’ Spray Turtle sprinkler!  I loved how the little turtle would spin and spray water through his shell.  However, I remember the day I discovered that my dad had mowed over my precious turtle.  Oh, I was sad, and the water that used to spray out of the top now just drizzled and oozed from the turtle’s back.  Luckily, my mom found another and I was able to return to happily romping in the sun.  Did you have one of these??
